Acoustic Kitty
This piece is a dialogue between acoustic guitar and digitally generated guitar. The generative part is created with the intention of having similar
tweakable parameters as the performer uses when improvising. The performer can control the speed and pitch of the computer generated stream with an expression pedal.
The digital sounds are amplified through acoustic guitar bodies using transducers.

Anton ToorellIn his solo project Anton Toorell explores the possibilities of the acoustic guitar. Using different techniques with two guitars a cascade of notes emerges and the result is rich in metamusical phenomena. Never static, and always carried forward by subtle shifts and nuances in accent, pitch and rhythm.
He’s debut album ”Solos” was released in February 2022.
EASTN-DC, European Art-Science-Technology Network for Digital Creativity, is a network dedicated to the time-based digital arts: musical arts, visual arts, performing and interactive arts. It is gathering 16 partners in 13 different countries from Europe to the Americas. They will host and exchange about 70 creators in the frame of a 16 international events tour spread over 4 years. These privileged moments, in direct contact with the audience, will frame a new and systemic approach, binding the Knowing “Disseminate”, the Learning “Inseminate”, the Making “Collect”, a digital creativity factory leading to a creative citizen.
